La Graciosa by Jeep: which of the four 4x4 tours should you book, and which one is in English?

The short answer: for most people, the complete Jeep tour with beach time — €55 per person, 2 hours 30 minutes, 4.4 out of 5 from 176 reviews, and the only one of the four whose standard route includes Playa Francesa and Montaña Amarilla. If you need the tour in English, the 4x4 excursion with a local guide (€40, 1.5 hours) is the one whose booking page lists English. The best-scored, and joint cheapest, is the north island tour at €40, but it is Spanish only.

First: none of these includes the boat
All four pages start in Caleta de Sebo, the island’s only real harbour, and none of them lists the ferry crossing among what you pay for. The two YOTOMU tours meet in front of the church, which their page puts about 200 metres from the ferry.
€55, 2.5 hours: the one that keeps going
The page names the stops: Pedro Barba, the volcanic arches, Playa de las Conchas, Montaña Amarilla and Playa Francesa. It is the only listing whose route goes south as well as north, and you can ask to be left at a beach and picked up later.
The weak points are on the page too. The driver is listed as Spanish-speaking, and the summary of recent reviews says that fewer people per Jeep would make it more comfortable. One family travelling with a 13-month-old baby reported that the driver was attentive and the ride very bumpy. The page lists the tour as not suitable for pregnant women, people with back problems and wheelchair users.

€45, 1.5 hours: the shorter version from the same provider
The same provider (YOTOMU) and the same meeting point, but 1.5 hours and three stops: Pedro Barba, the basalt arches of Los Caletones and Playa de las Conchas. The description gives departures at 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM and a limit of 22 people split over three Jeeps of 6, 8 and 8. Pregnant women and wheelchair users are listed as not suitable.
It is €10 cheaper than the long tour and covers the northern highlights that most photographs of the island show.

€40, 1.5 hours: the small-group tour with the best score
Limited to 8 participants, a Spanish-speaking guide, and the route Pedro Barba, Playa Lambra, El Caletón de los Arcos and Playa de las Conchas. You can stop at a point and be collected later. The meeting point is the Jeep Safari Taxi office on Avenida Virgen del Mar in Caleta de Sebo. People with mobility impairments are listed as not suitable.
4.6 from 16 reviews is a good score on a short record. If you speak Spanish, or are happy with a guide you cannot follow word for word, this is the tour to take.

€40, 1.5 hours, in English: and the beach costs €20 more
The other €40 tour is the one that lists a guide in Spanish, English and Italian, with a limit of 8 people. It follows almost the same route: Pedro Barba, the dunes of Playa Lambra, the sea arch at Caletón de los Arcos and Las Conchas. At the end, for a €20 supplement, the group can stay at Playa de las Conchas or Playa Francesa and agree a pickup time for the return to the harbour. With the supplement it costs €60 per person, more than the long tour.
It has the lowest rating here, 3.5 from 8 reviews, a very thin record, so read the recent comments before you pay.

Our recommendation
Book the €55 complete Jeep tour if you want the whole island in one go. It is the best documented and the only one whose standard route includes the southern beaches. Take the €40 English-language excursion if you need the commentary in English and do not mind a short record. Take the €40 north island tour if a small group and the best score matter and Spanish is fine.
Whichever you choose, check your ferry return time before you pick a beach-and-pickup option: a Jeep that comes back late does not help if the last boat will not wait.
